Conversation: Connection and Mental Health in Wisconsin

Members of Wisconsin Partners organizations are invited to weigh in at the first conversation in our 2023 series on Connection. Through this series, we hope to explore the value of all kinds of human connection - how do we address isolation and polarization? How can we amplify voices of lived experience, and what are the best strategies for effective, meaningful community engagement? What does Connection have to do with the workplace, with intergenerational learning, or with our neighbors?

Mary Kay Battaglia, Executive Director of NAMI Wisconsin, will host this first conversation to explore how Connection and Mental Health overlap in Wisconsin -- and we want to hear from you, too. This will be an interactive discussion, with voices from a range of sectors, perspectives, and communities.

What does mental health have to do with local government, health care, seniors, parents, faith communities, the arts, and our economy? How can we work together to support human connection and healthy communities?
