AARP’s mission is to empower people to choose how they live as they age. A major focus of AARP is livable communities. A livable community is one that is safe and secure, has affordable and appropriate housing and transportation options, and offers supportive community features and services.

Create Wisconsin is Wisconsin’s community cultural development organization, bringing people together through creative experiences and activating and strengthening Wisconsin’s creative economy, workforce and communities.

Feeding Wisconsin

Feeding Wisconsin is the statewide association of the Feeding America food banks that sources, warehouses, and provides food to over 750 affiliated agencies and 1,000 local food programs throughout the state. Our vision is a hunger-free Wisconsin and our mission is to help our food banks and partners fight hunger, improve health and strengthen local communities so that everybody in Wisconsin has access to the food and benefits they need to work, learn, play and live healthy lives.

Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources

GWAAR is a nonprofit agency committed to supporting the successful delivery of aging programs and services in 70 counties and 11 tribes in Wisconsin. We provide training, technical assistance, and advocacy to ensure the availability and quality of programs and services to meet the changing needs of older people in Wisconsin.

NAMI Wisconsin is the State Affiliate of NAMI for Wisconsin. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of those affected by mental illness and to promote recovery.

RWHC is owned & operated by 42, rural acute, general medical-surgical hospitals. The Cooperative's emphasis on developing a collaborative network among both freestanding & system affiliated rural hospitals distinguishes it from alternatives.

UWWi is the statewide organization providing member support services to the local & independent United Ways in WI. Through UWWi member support services, local United Ways have capacity to individually & collectively build stronger communities.

Through UW-Extension, people of WI & beyond can access university resources & engage in learning, wherever they live & work. Fundamental are partnerships with the 26 UW campuses, county & tribal governments, & other public & private organizations.

The mission of WISCAP is to advance the work of our member organizations to help people and communities become economically secure.  The association was founded on the principal that bringing about economic self-sufficiency for the state’s low-income households should be a coordinated endeavor.
