

After years of community dialogue, relationship building, and needs assessments, Kickapoo Conversations has secured a grant to support the foundations of a Shared Services Model for childcare in the Kickapoo region. This will improve health outcomes for kids, salaries for providers, and reliability of service for parents.

Southwest Partners continued to expand kayak and canoe access to Pine River, improve hiking and biking trails, and develop campsites in the region. As they move into the new year, the team looks forward to working with communities along the Kickapoo and Little Baraboo Rivers.
